You're investing in yourself & are saving up for cosmetic surgery. It's time to look better, feel better, and to get that boost of self-esteem so you can go out into the world with a renewed sense of confidence!
It is equally important to invest in your after-care if you want optimum results from your plastic surgery. Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (MLD) can give you those optimum results. This is a specialty massage that helps speed your healing time, decreases pain, reduces scarring, and reduces swelling.
You should schedule your first MLD session within a day or two after surgery. If you have a minor procedure, I will set you up with a series of 1-hr sessions continuing 2 times per week for 3-6 weeks. For more extensive surgeries, such as a tummy tuck, you will have at least 2 2-hr sessions the first week. Depending on how quickly you heal, how much bruising and puffiness you have, and your energy level, I may recommend switching to 90-min or 60-min sessions. These are scheduled 2 times per week for 3-6 weeks.
I am nationally certified in the Vodder method as a Lymphatic Drainage Therapist/Lymphedema Therapist through the Klose Training Institute, founded by Guenter Klose. Be confident that you are in good hands as you heal from your elective procedures!
