Exercise during & after cancer
I am a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist through the Cancer Exercise Training Institute. Feel free to contact me to begin a gentle stretching and exercise program during or after your cancer treatments. If you are scheduled for surgery, you may be able to start easy stretches 24-hours post-op. If you are interested in starting a program, I will first get approval from your doctor. Then I will measure your range of motion (ROM), & check your balance & flexibility to see where your abilities are at the beginning. I will show you gentle stretches and exercises to do each week to regain your mobility, strength, and posture. You may be nervous about going into a gym & you may not be sure what exercises are safe for you. I am here to help you get stronger. With the "new you", you can accomplish a lot.
